Covid Era
Due to covid-related mitigation measures, we are currently unable to meet in person. Until mitigation measures are eased, all of our monthly educational programs will be presented via Zoom, YouTube, or some other online format. Details will be posted regularly regarding how to connect to these programs.
In 2003 Ken Kielsmeier undertook a labor of love when he began a restoration project on land that had been farmed for generations by the family of his friends, Mark and Joyce Long of Leaf River. On July 16, 2022, the Rock River Valley chapter of Wild Ones resumed its July event of visiting a member’s yard or other natural area, combined with a potluck with a tour of the prairie restoration on the Longs’ property, followed by a picnic.
